Common questions
Questions answered.
What is the 30-day money-back guarantee?
If you're not satisfied with the initial design concepts (after the first round), Soltra offers a full refund of your deposit within 30 days of contract signing—provided no development work beyond the design phase has begun. This applies only to design direction; if development has started, the guarantee no longer applies. Refunds are issued within 5 business days of written request.
What content do I need to provide?
Clients provide: business copy/text, images or photos, logo, and specific feature requirements (e.g., booking systems, product catalogs). Soltra handles: site structure, design, technical setup, SEO basics, and all hosting infrastructure.
How many revisions are included?
Design phase: 2 rounds of revision rounds per tier. Development phase: unlimited minor adjustments within scope. Major features beyond the agreed scope require a scope-change discussion and may incur additional fees.
Can I update my site myself after launch?
Clients request updates via email or contact form. Each plan includes monthly update hours (2 hrs/mo for Starter, 5 hrs/mo for Professional, 15 hrs/mo for Enterprise). Additional hours are billed at $150/hr.
What happens to my site if I stop paying?
You own your domain and all content (copy, images, data). Upon cancellation, Soltra will export your business data. The site code is Soltra's proprietary platform; you'll need to replatform or rebuild elsewhere. Migration assistance is available. No penalties. See the Data Ownership page for complete details.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Setup fees can be split over 2–3 months (e.g., $1,500 now + $1,000 in month 2). Recurring monthly fees are due monthly; payment plans are not available for recurring charges.
What about support outside business hours?
Email/chat support is available Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm PT. Enterprise plan customers receive priority support and same-day response for critical issues. Other inquiries receive response within 24–48 hours.
Is my site fast and secure?
Yes. All sites are hosted on AWS with a 99.9% uptime guarantee, TLS 1.3 encryption, automated backups, and automated security patching. Clients receive enterprise-grade infrastructure at small-business pricing.
Does Soltra track user data on my site?
Yes. Soltra uses analytics cookies to track visitor behavior on client sites for service improvement and anonymized analytics insights. Client site content and personal data remain confidential. See the Privacy Policy and Data Ownership page for complete details. Clients can request tracking to be disabled.
